Stillwater School is an independent private school offering Kindergarten for the 2008-2009 school year. Beginning in fall of 2009, we will add a first grade class and continue to grow with our students yearly, up to eight grade.

We are currently located in Arlington, Washington, just east of downtown. We are situated on a hill overlooking the Stillaguamish River, farmland and the Cascade Mountains. We have access to over 100 acres of dedicated open space for exploration and learning.

Stillwater School is committed to a culture of academic excellence where we will raise expectations, provide choices for learning, and remove obstacles for all students so that they can achieve their dreams and enthusiastically contribute to their community and world.

Based on the Expeditionary Learning model of instruction, Stillwater students deepen their knowledge through real life experiences and the arts.  Linked firmly with purposeful, rigorous academic instruction, Stillwater students embark on in-depth learning expeditions that explore relevant topics in a supportive, welcoming and encouraging environment.
